Here it is: a new spot on the web to talk about food culture – the culture of food. Though I may not know exactly what I mean by that terminology, I am hoping to get to a closer understanding of it through writing and interactions with food lovers, cooks, chefs, butchers, bakers, and candlestick makers who might stop by this little patch of space. I hope you’ll find my writing funny and helpful, and that you’ll be inspired to spend time thinking about what you eat, what it means to you and your family, and appreciate it for what it is, beyond perfunctoriness (a real word!).
